1 check the kill switch is on go !
2 follow the wire from the Right hand switch and check it is plugged in
3 check the wires are on the front brake switch (it is on the bottom of the master cylinder ) ____________________ Dave

I'm sure this sort of problem has been posted before, but in one case, the right-hand switch set should have been earthed through the handlebars, but the new handlebars were anodised or coated with something that made them non-conductive - so the switches that normally work by making a contact to earth, no longer worked.
Check you have a good earth between the handlebars and the battery / engine / frame earth, or if the switch set has a separate earth wire, it is also connected to earth. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)
