Good evening BCF

Does any one know where you can get one of these from?
I've tried search in all the usuals, but I can only find the India [country] site.
There doesnt seem to be a way of selecting your country [well UK anyway] in the Billing stage,so I presume this is only available if you are in India?

Thanks all

For what possible reason would you want to buy some obscure Indian tyre inflator? Confused

You speak of good reviews but there aren't any on their website.

Just buy a tyre inflator from a normal UK based shop. It's that simple. Smile

What do I use - single barrel foot pump, and I find this more than adequate not just inflating tires, but also fitting them and popping the bead on. It gets quite a lot of abuse. I'd recommend a double barrel if buying again, but this is quite old and I'm not replacing until its dead. It will be quicker and last longer than any pathetic plastic battery pump. On the bike I carry a 4 quid mini aluminium bicycle pump, which has done the job on several occasions when I've had punctures, and only consumes minimal space.

8th result down on google for ResQtech is the product page on Amazon.in. You did not look very far. There is nothing wrong with buying from amazon international sites.

It claims to be the same item as sold by stop and go america, which is also likely to be shit:

If you check my first post, you will see that I had already gone to Amazon India but couldnt check out...

I opted to get the RAC one off ebay in the end,but will follow your US link, just out of interest.

It's got to be better than a bloody cycle pump tho, surely?!!
How long and how much pain does that method equate to?!?

A double barrel pump sounds better [I've a single one] and the plastic ones all look pretty shit, but it's not as if it's gonna be used/abused on a daily basis [I hope] and the reviews I was referring to were on Youtube, and not on the India website [there is actually 1 on there!]
so I was swayed by their apparent simplicity, and I wasn't even aware these 'micro' pumps even existed before the other day,so naturally thought they must be the best thing since sliced bread!!

With any option, the cheap air hose is likely to need replacing as natural rubber perishes very quickly, and usually when most inconvenient. Especially with heat. PVC or proper air hose works well.

Compressing air creates heat and requires powar. Little plastic pumps are very limited in power, and equally limited in there ability to dissipate heat, this makes it exceptionally slow and noisy.

Cycle pumps are exceptionally small, reliable, and very rare I would need to use it, so its a good trade off. It will do the job adequately in under 5 mins.

This is not too bad if anyone's interested

Surprisingly quite sturdy and the hose is braided, unlike some of the others I've looked at.Nice tight connector too.

Very light to carry under seat or in your bag.

Even a useful lamp on it.

This could well come in useful out there.

I will deflate a tire over the wknd, and see how long it takes to fill 22psi.

I recon at the rate it filled my MTB tire, should be no more than 10 minutes.

hhhHaa no Ste,I knocked that one on the head!

This was off ebay and dispatched from somewhere in the UK

so rapid delivery.

£15 and something pence

I must say,the braided hose and valve screw on it is very good quality.
Cant be too bad if endorsed by the RAC.

Chuffed with it,but dont want to be seeing it too ofen tho hhh ! Thumbs Up

hmm? Same one, costs pennies to make. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161595011411/

"Braided hose" is just a cheap rubber hose hidden under a braid. It offers no functional benefit other than to hide the leak when the rubber quickly perishes and splits. I would bet the hose is extremely poor quality. When the hose splits, get a length of 4mm ID PVC hose from ebay, you can reuse the connectors. Costs a quid.

22psi is not adequate for most road vehicles, test to 32-40 psi, if you want a measure of if its any good.
