Hi Guys,

I am taking the r6 to moto tweeks in essex to install power commander and do custom maps.

has anyone used them ?

price is reasonable £450 all in . the device it self is around £280 and he install it as well so saving me time doing it .

If I was to do it myself , it is 280+150 most places for custom map

so in a way only saving £15

I can buy it from germany for £220 but no UK warranty on it which I think is safe to have

was there, the guy was ok and helped but seemed a bit of rip off.

firstly they told me they will block the return pipe as part of their installation which they did with tweezers when mapping and then took it off after mapping .

Shouldn't they block it all together ?

secondly the un screwed the battery negative to connect the power commander and leaving 1 wire from another device ( alarm) out when screwing it back in.

I later found out and wasn't too pleased.

finally the installation took 10 minutes and mapping less than 50 minutes where as I was told 3-4 hours.

what is the time set aside for custom mapping ?
