Hello all

anyone here work at a dealership or got lots of experience buying bikes?

I want to buy a street triple R or RX

i have a 2014 CBR500RAE with lots of extras (that will have approx 20,000 on the clock ) and some superficial scrapes on the fairing and tail plastics which i may get fixed to use as a PX
And instead of buying outright i want to buy on a finance deal and PX every two years.

does anyone have any advice on getting the best deal? I was thinking the end of the year around December might be a good time to buy as i imagine bike sales are pretty low at that time of year, what with the weather and Christmas and all. what do you guys think?

I suppose out-of-season would be a good time to buy, if dealers have special offers available, but by the same token, part-exchange values could also be lower.

Possibly the best time of all, would be towards the end of the month before new registrations come out, you are looking at pre-registered stock - and the salesman has a target to hit.

I would agree if you can get a pre reg bike if you can get one.

Triumph normally have national deals like luggage, arrow cans etc. but anything extra you negotiate with the dealer.

In my experience they aren't that forthcoming with cash discounts especially with the more popular models.
