I love it, but r/h gear change etc is a bit of a pain. Most were trashed but this one is sweet, and sounds very nice Very Happy Just turned 7000 miles last week. A bit more power than you'd think but not as smooth as the early Hondas. I prefer riding my G5 but this gets more interest at the pub.

I only take it out about once a month and it's a real throwback to when things were more basic. Probably more of a collectors bike but I can't just sit and look at a bike. It needs more rider input than your average bike, so not for everyone.

Good entry in to classics though - less common than the near identical BSA but maybe not as cheap (ie good ones are £2k / £2.5k). However, a well fettled one should last a while yet, and that goes for the bike too Cool

I have the original heat shield but bought a smaller replacement as the oem, rare as it is, is pretty fugly.

Ah, yes, I've blocked out the letter denoting the year. Rather pointless really as they only made them for a couple of years and who's going to clone it anyway Mr. Green

That is one beautiful bike. Reminds me of the Starfire I used to have back in the 70's.
