I love it, but r/h gear change etc is a bit of a pain. Most were trashed but this one is sweet, and sounds very nice Just turned 7000 miles last week. A bit more power than you'd think but not as smooth as the early Hondas. I prefer riding my G5 but this gets more interest at the pub.
I only take it out about once a month and it's a real throwback to when things were more basic. Probably more of a collectors bike but I can't just sit and look at a bike. It needs more rider input than your average bike, so not for everyone.
Good entry in to classics though - less common than the near identical BSA but maybe not as cheap (ie good ones are £2k / £2.5k). However, a well fettled one should last a while yet, and that goes for the bike too

A beautiful little thing you have got there.
That is one rather odd shaped licence plate. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ
