For some unknown reason I clung onto my bike once as we slid on our sides down the road, until we came to a stop wedged underneath a van.

Was still giving it some throttle too. Laughing

Never held onto the bars...ever.
Only had a couple of offs on the motorbike but countless on bicycles and always let go.

I'll try to hold on next time just for the hell of it. Confused

Reflex should be to grip tighter when you feel like you're falling, but I tend to let go as soon as I feel it go down.

I don't think you really make a decision to hold on or let go it just happens how it happens. I don't think I have made a decision to let go rather the bike just pulled away from me.
