Weather and other gremlins got in my way for bike camping trips this year.

I'm determined to get out as much as I can in what is left of the camping year.

Thought I might get a 3 season tent to help make sure the over-nighters are more secure weather wise.

Plumped for one of these, hoping it does what it says according to the sales blurb.

If anybody has one it would be good to hear what you think of it.

I like the idea of the dead-end pole sleeves. SHould save a lot of running about.

Can you let us know how easy they are to get back out again when wet?

Will do stinks, for sure it will be christened with rain on it's first outing' Smile

I don't care about rain or wind or cold during the night when camping, happiness will be not having any of those when in the saddle.

I have a Vaude Power Lizard tent, and like it a lot. Very light, about 1kg with all pegs etc (not so important for carting around on the bike), and packs very small (much more important when carting around on the bike). I paid similar to that one, but that one looks even better. I think they're worth the extra cost if you're going to be doing a lot of camping. Mine has withstood 2 months solid use in the Lakeland fells (every day of that) plus numerous shorter trips, high winds, torrential rain, icy conditions, and hasn't let me down.
