What is going on at Ebike? Considering that they are an internet only company it's interesting that the website does not allow me to log on to my details.

That message has been there for at least a week as far as I'm aware.

I've not received any renewal information or emails and not been pestered over the phone. If you click on 'contact' you get a blank page.

Ah well. looks like I'm going to have to change this year to Devitt. Slightly annoyed that I have 10 years no claims and it looks like I can only use 5 due to the way Ebike report it.

That's not uncommon (probably going back to the days when 5 years was maximum anywhere). I'd be quite surprised if it makes any noticeable difference to your premium.

£14 difference.

Doesn't sound much but it works out at about 15% of the cost for fully comp. One of the few benefits of being old.

BCF search is less than optimal. Perhaps it was "undergoing essential maintenance".

eBike don't seem to be e any more, which was their major attraction. You'd think it would cost them more to pay folk to answer the phone, but it appears that they've not bothered doing that either, so silver linings.

I guess it helped me save some money. Their quote was double everyone else. Laziness has a price.

I actually went with them, again, anyway. Despite my protests. I only wanted cover for 3-4 months maximum and they turned out to be the cheapest, taking into account their tiny cancellation charges + refunds on the policy. Everyone else penalises you quite heavily for doing that it seems. That and their 365 day EU cover kind of secures my business. Hope I can move to NL soon so I can get a cheap SP1 and insure it for 68 euro per year over there. Laughing
