100°C is not high, the whole cooling system is pressurized, so the water in the coolant won't boil till it gets above certain temperature. If everything works.
Changing the coolant won't help. Check the fan works, just rev it in neutral long enough to get the fan to kick in. Thermostats are usually closed below 82c (too cold for engine) while fan usually cut in at 110c. You should let it get hot/fan come on occasionally as it will evaporate any water in the oil.
In winter my cbr6 usually stays around 50, not great for the oil especially with short journeys. So to make it run hotter I have used a radiator cover the last year or two.
Polyester casting tape is very good for DIY radiator covers, and many other bike things Bought a box of 10 after breaking my leg. |

The thermostat is supposed to open and close to help the engine get up to it's ideal running temperature, but when thermostats fail, they usually fail in the open position (for safety) so the bike never makes it past luke-warm.
Most engines run best at over 100°c, which is why the cooling system is pressurised - to prevent the coolant boiling over.
Try a new thermostat, together with a system flush and new coolant. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)
