so I have had my bike back for 2 days now, it was in the garage getting new indicators installed.

So had it back took it for a good 2 hour spin and noticed a faint whistle, turned the engine off and it is still going so thinking it's something electrical.

The next day attempt to start it up and battery is flat as hell so off for a bump start, I eventually get it going after 3-4 attempts down a steep hill (with me walking up each time very fun) so it starts to run but is misfiring badly and will not let me touch the throttle. Eventually bring the bike back up to mine and get the jump leads from my car to bike and it sounds like it's working slightly better holding an idle took it off and it's idling but won't even let me Rev it enough to move...

So does anyone have any ideas on what it could be, please note it was running sweet as yesterday!

Bike is Honda cbr 400 nc29 1990

Thanks

Honda = reg/rec has lunched itself and cooked the battery (whistling could have been it gassing off), would be where I'd start checking.

You'll really want to spring for a basic multimeter before spending money on replacing parts. Put a new battery in with a hosed reg/rec and you'll be buying another in short order.
