I’ve just changed my phone over to a newer one and it’s going to be cheaper than my old phone (sim only contract).
Pepperami joins the modern age and gets an i-phone 6, whatever the f*ck that is Laughing Thumbs Up
The phone is already paid for and the contract is £11 a month for all the calls a texts I want.
And I can do Face-time? And see the people I’m calling, i Think for free.

Yes and no. If you're using wi-fi it's free, if you're using your mobile network you'll be eating into your data allowance, and will probably be charged if you go over it.

I just went back to GiffGaff - £10 p/m unlimited calls/texts, 3GB data rising to 4 after 3 months. The only thing I'm nervous about is last time I was with them the 4G signal (o2 network) was shit.

You'd be surprised how many of your contacts list are already on there, I certainly was. Obviously it's only free 100% when
connected to (anyones) wifi, if you use mobile data, it will eat up your allowance.

So, been trying to find out what's wrong with my wrist watch which is slightly fast, yet set by the atomic clock. Then noticed that my phone is fast also, and they are both ahead of DAB radio, and time signal on DAB and time signal on FM.

Turns out that the atomic clock is 37 seconds ahead of UTC because unlike UTC it and GPS have never had leap seconds applied.

You should be able to switch mobile data off completely in your settings. Not that I've ever used an iphone as such.

You can. If you drag the screen up (swipe finger from bottom to top) a quick menu appears, and on here you can turn on and off WiFi / Bluetooth / Mobile Data and turn on Airplane mode. You have the volume and brightness settings in there as well.

The one thing to remember is that there is an option somewhere that uses mobile data if your wifi is ropey. I was wondering why my data usage was getting raped every month. Turns out that my home wifi is dodgier than a Fazer weld-job.

I have a 160gb ipod classic and that's it. I don't get the hype. But I'm not really an android fanboi either. Wifey bought
me a sim free Nokia 6 last Christmas, it does me. I don't use a quarter of the features but it does what I need it to.
