The Jeremy Kyle Show has been permanently cancelled by ITV after the death of a guest.

I hated that show and Kyle as well.

Getting out for a bimble with two good mates after work. 4 hours on the bike and some food on a nice (20 deg) sunny evening.

Just flogged my conservatory on Ebay. This is good because

a. I don't have to dismantle it myself.

b. I don't have to pay £200 for a skip for it.

c. It was listed on a £1 offer and it's cash on collection so Ebay gets £1.

d. I got a nice £200 bung I wasn't expecting which I'll surely spend on another skip.

e. All that glass won't go to waste.

Guys coming on Sunday. Thumbs Up

Just convinced some poor sap that I'm gonna dismantle and take away his conservatory and give him 200 nicker for it on Sunday.

Fuck that, I'll be in the pub. Might message and say the van has broken down and see how long I can string him along.

Bouncing about, feeling rather trim today... amazing what a really big poo can do for your outlook on life!

Also, just signed off a tidy radio installer job up town so there are some bouncers who will be very happy next week with new toys to play with.

Shouldn't really post two good things in one day but at the garage this evening yet another random bowls up to me: "wow! nice bike mate, what is it?... How much?! Really? Looks really fancy though."

Well worth giving the bike a wash now and then Very Happy

I need the living room hoovered and mopped before Anita gets home (she's just getting on her flight from Sydney now) ...

Adultwork advert, I'll get someone to give me a reasonable sum of cash for me to TELL them to straighten their pinnie and get that fucking floor mopped.

I might have accidentally imbibed some honey which has been infused with an extraordinarily pleasant substance.

For some reason my mind is unable to focus on what that substance might be.

But its a very pleasant evening, and I have the rest of my life to enjoy it.

Following on from my "Toothache!" post on the "grinds" thread, today I had a back tooth removed and it turned out to be surprisingly quick and painless. What a relief, those scare stories I found on Google about middle-age wisdom tooth removal and twisted roots were wrong! It seems dentists aren't as brutal as they were when I was a child. (The one in Oxford who fitted me with braces was even called Mr. Savage.) These days they leave the rough stuff to the hygienist.

Things have become a lot more civilized dentally-speaking.

The last time I was in serious pain as the result of a dental visit was because I put on too much Old Woman face moisturiser* and the dentist's hand slipped whilst she was trying to extract a tooth, and she stabbed me in the gum.

Twice Laughing Laughing

It was my own silly fault, but who was to know a moisturiser would be *that* slippy Surprised

*i.e., with extra grease that only old women can get away with

My phone battery has been crap recently; takes ages to charge, won't charge to 100%, after a couple of minutes of usage I have lost 10% charge, leaving it alone in my bag all morning to find that my phone has switched off due to no charge etc etc.

I had it replaced yesterday and holy hell what a difference! It takes two hours to charge fully again and using apps doesn't cause the battery to countdown to zero before my eyes.

Cheaper than a new phone!

So just about to get on my bike last night and a guy sidles up to me in a car... "nice bike man! what is it? a triumph or something?" muggles eh? don't they make you chuckle.

Ironically the Ford Mustang GT he was driving was the same matt metalic gunmetally type colour as my Superlight. What else could I do...

"Nice ride there yourself, shame the steering wheel's on the wrong side!"

Arrived 40 mins early. Took it down in 3 hours flat. Left no mess. Paid in full. To say this pleases me is an understatement. Thumbs Up
