Balls. Metal balls.
One of my side lines is ornamental metalwork. Just messing really but sometimes some parts take more time than they're worth.
Today I discovered a local supplier of what can only be described as metal shapes - most going into making ornamental fencing/railings.
I actually wanted 40 mm metal balls to save me shaping some parts and got them for 30p each. I'm rather happy and playing with my balls right now!

Taste after 10 minutes, remove and drain a minute before it feels ready then serve. It continues to soften once out of the water so this way you get the perfect consistency.

I love sticky rice! White rice, that is. If it doesn't stick together enough to make rice balls, it ain't cooked enough.

A reasonably local steel stockholder will actually cut me 6 off 1700mm lengths of 16mm black mild steel round bar for £2/m +VAT. Very nice.

I'm not the one "watching" old Pan's People videos. I don't believe for one minute you're a dancing fan.

A great ride, battered sausage chips and gravy, 190mph.

Great company.

A soul cleansing evening.

Plus some lengths of 40mm x 6mm black flat steel bar, cut "while I wait there"! £45 total.

This literally oiled my gears. Got out the old drill ready to pierce 18 16mm holes in the 40mm x 6mm steels. Automatic feed, no less (if engaged)!
