Driving to work and overtake police car on the motorway, he's doing about 55 I'm doing 70. The police car then accelerates and slowly passes me, the officer in the passenger seat looking very intently at me/my car... then gives me a thumbs up. Laughing

Pics ? deffo should not be left to words alone that outfit Thumbs Up

Probably not as snazzy looking as it sounds.
It is me, after all Rolling Eyes

I think my bloke took a picture from the front doorstep as I took off, will ask.

I may have had a rucksack (to carry my chain and padlock) which spoils the look, too. Often I wear the chain padlocked around my torso, but I didnt want to get rust on my pants Laughing

Today's cheerful note came when I drove past my old flat in Fulham on the way to the dentist, and noticed one of the (Italian) neighbours I haven't seen for ages, standing out the front.

So after my dentist appointment I stopped back there and knocked on the door. The daughter of the family answered and was over the moon to see me, we've not seen one another for about 15 years. So we had a tiny nag (half an hour Laughing ) cos my bike was parked on a yellow line, WAY too close to a roundabout) and I have promised to return next week for some espresso and lunch, to spend time with their mum (now 82) and catch-up on gossip. Lovely!

Had my front window fixed.

It got, uhhh, interfered-with late one evening (about 18 months ago!) when we both "lost our keys"* - but we hadn't got round to asking the landlord to fix it.

So it took two guys all of half an hour to take the window off and install new hinges, and I am now happily sitting here with the window open and curtains blowing in the breeze.

Watched some of the footage from my commute back and noticed that the fellow rider that I pulled up diagonally behind (I in lane 1, him in 2) in some traffic gave me a little shoulder check nod before he went into the distance once he noticed me.

Not that the power of my chong noodle 125 would have allowed me to catch up and say hello back mind.

Just had a cheeky 5pm quickie with the wife, feel much better for a damn good spaff. My fruit was hanging low. Embarassed

Looking forward to dinner, tonight on the menu we have
Filet steak, with chips, onion and coriander salad, a couple of fried eggs and some peas, washed down with a couple of 'been in
the fridge all day' bottles of Cobra. With a tub of strawberry cheesecake Haagen Dazs to sit and munch on the sofa
with whatever we can agree on netflix wise. Big furry blanket on the sofa, bit of snuggle time... Bliss. (and possibly round two if I'm not too full)

Went out for a squirt in my seldom used Audi today, I always forget what a whizzy thing it is.
In the last 12 months it's done 48 miles... Embarassed

Dinner tonight courtesy of 'Jamies Italian' in Bath. Had good feed in there. Meat platter to share to start.
For main I had the 'Ultimate burger' with fries and coleslaw. my mrs had 'chicken puttanesca' with a green salad.
Went home for 'afters' Wink seems the wine went to mrs grrs head. Now she's gone to bed and I have the TV
to myself and a large tub of ice cream to go with it. Life is good.

I have new volunteers who are nice, and over the age of 18.

And I finally figured out how to make Dosas our of dosa mix. Cheap as hell, really good for any stuffing, and really healthy.

That was cool Laughing

The happy barks (and laughter from me) of Bruno playing "dog drinking the hose water" game whilst I was washing down my garden alleyway.

Cracks me up how he tries to drink from it and run away both at the same time.

Laughing Laughing Laughing
