Yes, a "cupboard spider" perhaps. I have never been bitten by a spider, as far as I know. The effect of the (rare) bites from these is reputed to be similar to being stung by a bee.

It was one of these, once hiding inside my lid in the garage. When I put the lid on, the little git took a bite out of my head just before it got crushed. Almost instantly got a pounding headache and nausia that lasted over a day. Riding was unpleasant.

Lawrence strolled through the living room (instead of sprinting) and then he hesitated for fifteen seconds more than usual before jumping out the front window for his nightly prowl.

It must be getting colder.
He should be home for the winter in a week or so Dance!

I shall prepare the fluffy blankets with hot-water bottles!

I don't usually pick 'em.
They pick me
(although yeah, I did pick Lawrence)

The last one I picked by myself was the fella in Amesbury, and I should have known better anyway, soon as I found out he was a biker and in a club, yawn been there done that, LOL

Most of the rest (before and after) have chosen me and I've just gone along with it.

Ya wanna dance

Lawrence did apparently stay the night last night, because he was indoors at breakfast time, first time since about May Shocked

So I fed him and smooched him (as ya do) in the hope that he might come back again tonight.

Standard practice Laughing

My gears have been oiled just now by having made an amazing seared cherry tomato puree in five minutes for the sauce on my bacon. It's got celery salt, a big spoonful of ginger paste and a tot of gin, all sizzled together in the oil that I cooked the bacon in.

It's wonderful. Wub
Better than ketchup.

My foodie game is en pointe today.

I had a leak on my water meter fixed a few weeks ago.

Anglian Water have given me a £1k rebate and reduced my monthly payments by half.

I, oth, have a special bacon sandwich recipe. I take two rashers of bacon, and put another one in between.

Strange, craft beers is about the only thing the Americans have had a go at and not totally ruined Thinking

I had a nice old video nag with the Esteemed Daughter today, it was lovely.

The sound of the birds chirping in the background does my turret in. There are ALWAYS birds in the background in Sydney Wub

Above-mentioned video chat is giving me itchy feet.
I am feeling a bit flighty.

I can feel it bubbling up inside of me.
Sometimes I get a need to break out of whatever rut I find myself in.
Naughtiness hovers menacingly upon my personal horizon Shocked
(albeit currently distant)

Not sure if I might do something erratic.
Like, I dunno, run off and marry a Cajun banjo player or something.

Whatever happens, no matter how unexpected, is just part of the usual hellkat planetary realignment.

I'm kind of excited.
No need to watch this space.
No specific time of when this might happen.
But I can feel a definite shift in my gravity: been in this London rut for rather a long time now.
