Saw Mick Jones from the Clash yesterday in Notting Hill. Got a friendly nod and a “hello”. Top fella.

Last 'celeb' sighting I had was Phil Daniels (or that bloke from the Parklife video as I know him) near Warwick Avenue... he gave me a dirty look. Saw Johnny Vegas a couple of times outside work and he gave me one too. I think they expect you to shout something clever.

Saw Johnny Vegas at Euston station and had a chat, we were all completely wankered including him which made the experience quite hilarious.

Also saw Hugh Dennis on Monday near Old Street, funny guy.

Young Grace managed a night fully alone last night, I closed her into my kitchen (tiled floor) which is and has been
her sleeping space since she has arrived. Settled her in front of the log burner, where she duly zonked out. I snuck
next door to the living room where I zonked out. At 0400 this morning she crys to tell me she needs a wee. I let
her out and watched her do #1 and #2 then she came back inside and settled again until 7 am which is her breakfast
time. No puddles and zero chewing except her things she's allowed to chew. I'm a very happy owner. Thumbs Up

First night in my bed since 2nd Jan. Pup slept til my 0600 alarm, I went downstairs, woke her up for a garden visit.
SHE did #1 then #2 then straight back indoors and straight back to sleep allowing me a further 2 and a half hours
desperately needed kip. And her stomach has settled after a change in feed so I'm back to collecting logs rather
than scooping soup. Hasn't had an accident indoors for over a week, we put puppy pads down last night and she
never went near them.

You could just hop in your (also) imaginary time machine and head back there...

Oooh, I couldn't be without one for that long.
Having said that, I could stop any time I wanted.

Honest.

I've got a Moka Express pot*, so I have been using that, but I just fancied going back to the leisurely Saturday-morning-plunger-and-danish-pastry schtick, it has a certain resonance and luxuriousness all of its own, whereas espresso from the Moka machine puts one in a frantic "must-rush" sort of mood.

* in fact I now have two. I mentioned to my ex that I needed a cafetiere as I had broken the last one, and he turned up on Boxing Day with ... a Moka pot, bless him. I didn't like to say that wasn't the sort I wanted and that I already had one of those, as I would never turn down a Moka pot at any time or indeed look a gift horse in the mouth! Laughing

Just had my feet massaged with vanilla body butter, nice.
I could get used to that.
I definitely need a foot slave.

Building a bike for a friend. I love building bikes up from components especially when. have to lace the wheels it's pure zen. They then pick the bike up and hand me £300 for the work!
