My employer's system for booking holiday thinks I carried over 5 days holiday from last year which I actually used Laughing Downside is I have to use it by the end of the month, can't complain though.

Went to my local motorcycle shop to buy some muc off cleaner.

Picked up a 1 litre bottle and placed it on the counter. The good lady at the till then informed me that the litre bottle I'd picked up was in fact concentrated and would make up 4 litres when diluted.

Not really what I was after, so asked her how much it was going to cost me. She told me that it was about 20 odd pound but would let me have it for a tenner.

Considering 1 litre usually costs around 7-8 quid, I was quite pleased. Very Happy

Spring. Being back on the bike after a week. Weather worthwhile commuting in.

Well, beside the tard who went from parked up to cutting across all three lanes of a major road right into my path forcing me to perform a stop / swerve combination / horn and all so he could attempt to cut into the turn right lane. Everyone lived so we won't go into that.

Had a blast. Twenty minutes and was over though, many sadness. Should probably take the longer route once the light gets a bit better at the latter hours of the day.

Thumbs Up

Just heard Peter Powell's sons are restarting the stunt kite business.
We had one of the originals back in the seventies.
Just hope I can afford one of the new ones.

Forgot to turn off my "available for work" notification on the way home last night from a v.late Friday-night shift

Half way round the M25 I got sent a job from BRx (where?) to BRy (where?). Damn.

Not entirely sure I could actually see well enough (tiredness) to get myself home, let alone a passenger.

Discovered there was a mouthful of Red Bull left (warm and not fizzy, urgh) and managed to collect this boy, ostensibly the manager of the local cinema.

Got not-quite halfway to his house, when his boss calls to say the alarms are going off, so we head back, and I wait 15 minutes, then take him back home again.

Job doubled in price.
Result.

Still, hardly worth getting home at 4.15am for ... *sigh*

Got the Strumpet back today with a nice new stator.

Although it's taken a couple of weeks, Fowlers have repaired it without any problems for free.
