First time bouldering since November. I'm fat and out of shape, but I enjoyed it anyway.

I can't look at those things, wifey comes climbing with me. It's only been so long because of spending the last 6 months
raising the pup. I'll whatsapp you a picture of wifeys pals in their 'yoga pants' Shifty

The ''SRS check lamp failure'' in my car is no more. Fixed it and it did not cost me a penny, well the 38pin to OBD II connector was about £5. Razz

Ground then oiled again within a few minutes.
Fowlers emailed this morning about the price of a new radiator for my bike. 'Just over £600, but we have got one in
stock' it said. When I regained consciousness I quickly found another place that could get me one delivered for £310
so was all set to order one to send there for them to fit, even if it meant collecting my bike from Fowlers and
having someone else fit it. Was sort of expecting to be having a row about it all with them tbh.

Took dog for walk first as she was mithering at me mercilessly to take her out. Rolling Eyes While out with dog, Fowlers
called to tell me what I'd already just read in the email. I mentioned that I could source for half their quote so
'could I order elsewhere and drop the new rad to them?'. Workshop manager couldn't really argue about a 300
quid difference for a bit of poxy tin and aluminum so agreed to let me source elsewhere and they would fit.
5 mins later they call back saying they have checked the price and actually their rad is a much more palatable
255 quid. Happily pulled the trigger at that price, and saved me the hassle of ordering elsewhere. Thumbs Up
The spacker will live to spack another day.

I'm guessing they were happy to replace the whole thing (as long as you paid for it).

I'm not sure they would have rectified the higher price if I hadn't challenged it and just sighed 'go ahead and do it'
at them. But then again I could just be a cynical, untrusting old bastard. They already have the rad and guard, so it's however
long it takes them to get the intake cover thing in stock I suppose... I'll give riding it into a river a go next. Laughing
One things for sure, there's no repairing the old one, it's well fucked.

Edit- Bikes done and ready to collect. £504 all in plus a further 70 quid for the replacement rad guard which I supplied.
