Finally managed to pick a lock thats been unattainable for me for a while now. Win.

Lock picking is a 'bit on the side' hobby of mine.

My dad learned of my plight with Student Finance and my application to Uni.

This morning I checked my bank account to see that I had a transfer received which covers my tuition and the first few months of rent, so that I can 'focus on schooling'.

It came in my late Nana's (grandmother's) name and made me cry at my desk. I didn't realise my grandparents had put money aside for me to finish my degree.

Gears well and truly oiled.

I picked a few locks, quite low tech, I filed down a bicycle padlock key to open a smaller padlock once

Its a good little time waster of an evening. I think its similar to those that do puzzles such as Sudoku, Rubik cube and other code breaking puzzles.

Admiral insurance.

Cost to change from TPF&T on an £800 car to FC on an £8,000 one = £0.

Then auto-renewal price for two cars = £9 less than last year, same circumstances, same maxed out NCD.

I am... what is... it's like they actually want to retain... but...

I'll admit.

After two months off the road, I got my bike MOTd. Didn't actually do anything to it, it's just been sitting in a shed at work feeling sorry for itself.

Rode it home last night and it was fantastic. Just in time for "the season". I don't really know how to use that phrase, is it right brothers of respectmost?

I think seasoning might refer to road salt, which we're just about ready for up here.

Oh... mileage error on new-to-me car. 300 in my favour. Everything's coming up Rogerborg.

A man got in my car today, and he was half as big as me again Shocked Shocked (i.e., YUGE squared)

I was very pleased that he got in the back on the opposite side.
It could have been very embarrassing to have the car listing to starboard if we both sat on the same side.

Somewhat tediously for him, as he got out, he fell over on his arse on the pavement. Luckily it was a very high kerb so it looked as though he just sat down cos he needed a little rest after the effort of getting out of the car ... Shifty

If I had done the same thing, I would have been mortified, so my heightened understanding of the fat-people code enabled me to pretend I had not seen it happen, and thereby lessen his embarrassment and shame.

I did not hum the tune about Weebles.
He wasn't really Weeble shaped anyway.
He was that kind of all-over fat that grows into the sort of people who can't leave the house without a crane.

Its nothing of the sort.
Its a hipster in-word.
If we find you growing a moustache with curly ends, extreme vengeance may abound, and I doubt I shall be able to rescue you from hipster-haters.

Was about to ask for a new sub-forum for Recman, then I thought not, perhaps he's one of those guided, responsible people who, through their guidance, ensure the rest of us and our children don't have to trail the shit from other peoples dogs through our homes.

I, for one, am sick of gagging whilst having to clean dogshit from kids shoes, nevermind whilst having to change tyres, etc

Some dog owners are responsible, I never walk mine without poobags and treats. Have a handy pouch thingy with
a bag dispenser on the side that always comes along on walkies. What I don't understand is why some people bag it up
then hang it in a tree? That's just mental. Better off leaving it on the floor if you're gonna do that.

I finished my new control panel on my boat. All working gauges including a fuel gauge. Dance! It was a right pig to fit the sender in the tank but worth it. No more dipstick!

The wiring on the back is done with mini bus bars for neutral, switched 12v and unswitched 12v so reducing the amount of electrical cables.

The engine stop was a fuck up as the cable interfered with the throttle cable routing so I had to move it over. Mad Will move the plate down to cover the hole when I next go down the boat.

PR3's.

Got caught out in some unexpected heavy rain that probably rendered finding a spot to pullover and stop more worthwhile than carrying on but they handled the challenging surface that was thrown at them with ease.

Didn't really get to test too much bad weather with them earlier in the year, be fun to see how they cope heading into the cooler climate at nights with some funky weather thrown in for good measure. Got a feeling I'm going to give up before they do.
