24 hour Google Pixel support service.

Surprisingly quick, easy and actually helpful.

Had a meeting in Westminster today.
Parked my car almost right outside the venue, and it was WAY cheaper than parking it in the Q Park which is 10 minutes walk away.

There's a surprising number of empty on-street parking spaces in Central London these days.
Cool Thumbs Up

The realisation that I don't really need to be trying to max out every bend at the edge of my capabilities anymore.
I sat behind my mate at a reasonable but leisurely pace and felt much better at the end of it all instead of being knackered after constantly pushing myself to the limits.

Went to London at the weekend, bit of a flying visit but headed down for a couple of social things. Thumbs Up

First up.

We ate HERE and chatted to one another mercilessly until the bloke on the next table fell asleep. Sleeping
Then back to where I was staying and another good chat in the car, was a good laugh and I almost made
myself late for my next appointment. See you soon Jen.Wub Oh, and the food was bloody lovely, I found out that evening
from my pal I was out with, that the restaurant has only been there about a year. WELL worth a visit.

Next up was to drive on to my mates house nearby and take him out for a drink or three as Saturday was
his birthday. We went to a (pretty rough looking) pub in Basildon where my other mates band were playing.
Neither of them were expecting me so it was a double surprise. Had a great night with them, and stopped
at Maccy D's after dropping my pal off home again (1.30am today) and I had one of those rare visits (especially
after midnight) where everything was cooked fresh including the fries Shocked So I ended up with a big bag of food that was
considerably more palatable than usual. Scoffed that and back to the Premier Inn for a well earned kip.
Was a long day but all about old friends and new ones so totally worth it. Thumbs Up Oh and got home (including a fuel stop)
in 2 hours 35 door to door so the Swift got a good spanking too.

Gears. Oiled.

Laughing Laughing I've Trip-Advisored it. I left out the bit about the guy at the next table, cos it was such a good experience, even he made me laugh, and it was so nice to find a decent place in what I expected to be a wasteland. I doubt they knew they were being visited by royalty: the Rt Hon Grr and hellkat Regina* Laughing

A pleasant afternoon, indeed - in all respects.

Jamie Oliver on tv randomly said to try something, so we did...

Small chunk of cheese with honey on, with a small sprinkle of crushing up coffee (or instant).

Sounds wrong, but mind blown.

Your welcome.

Got some excellent feedback from work today, it seems that I am reasonably OK at doing my job.

Also got the gixer booked in for someone to find out why it keeps eating its charging system because I can't be bothered with it. I just want to ride it!

Nope. You've missed out the mushrooms and brown sauce. The ONLY way to eat oatcakes.
