Go, little dude! Did he enjoy the film?

He was actually going to see a different film. The guys dressed up were part of a promotional thing organised by the cinema.

I might take him to see Star Wars after it's been out for a bit and the crowds have thinned out somewhat.

I spent the afternoon on my Xbox one, playing world of tanks and seal clubbing.

Her face says it all. She's not checking to avoid collision. She's making sure she'll hit him.

I found a moment to go to the supermarket and there were hardly any people in there.

So I bought just enough stuff to get through Christmas: sufficient but not excessive amounts of cream*, cake, vegetables, butter, cheese, biscuits, pasta, booze and cat food to survive and have a nice time.

* well, okay, slightly excessive amounts of cream ... Shifty ... but it is Christmas after all, according to Noddy Holder.

**half a bottle of red wine to cook my roast beef with, and a whole unopened bottle of Amaretto di Saronno that I just somehow seem to have forgotten I even had (it still has the dutyfree packing around it!) and which I may take with me when I visit MCW and get her drunk with it.

Got 90% of my christmas grocery shop in. Did half in Tesco and half in Waitrose. Surprisingly neither were chocka block.
Just need veggies and a bit more cheese and I'm done.

Among my purchases -
8 bottles of Prosecco, 6 tubs haagen dazs (Currently £3 a pop in Waitrose), a bottle of Whitley Bay gin
(Awesome I'm told), a good 20 odd mixed bottles of craft beers and IPA, a few bottles of cider, 4 bottles
of Sauvignon Blanc. Turkey crown, beef basting joint, loads of streaky bacon and Tesco finest chipolatas
(my favourite sausages anywhere), all sorts of sliced cooked meat and plenty of sweets, crisps and nuts of course.
Tonight sees the arrival of my ounce of herbal (half from one guy and half from another so I can mix it up a bit)
Also the wife finished work yesterday and is now off for a fortnight. Settling in for a nice long period of over-indulgence.

They said on the news today and tomorrow will be the busiest days for food shopping, the roads were busy so I was expecting it to be hectic... but the supermarket was surprisingly quiet. Anyhoo got what I needed for xmas:

The Sainsburys in Whetstone was already laden with Jewish ladies queuing to get in the car park. Its Friday, shouldn't they all be indoors waving candles about or something?

(the people whose house I am staying in have fucked off until after Hanukah for a holiday abroad, leaving me to mind Sande the patchwork cat and Max the psychotic Irish terrier)

If it's on sale in mid-late December it ought to be either the December or the January edition. What rationale do they use to call it the February edition, I wonder?

Tbh, I just wanted rid of it.
My mate got lots of firewood in exchange for the use of the chainsaw and I had a blast.
My neighbour now has all the branches in his garden so now it's his mess.
