Did two shifts back to back yesterday.
The only casualty was my feet, they didn’t half ache by the end.
Other than that , it was a good safe couple of shifts, and I have all of today off to recover Very Happy .

A G&T may be in order before a nice roast dinner today Thumbs Up

I thought that said "shits" ... and I felt satisfied on your behalf, but worried why your feet would hurt.

Not today but yesterday.

Opening the door to a pair of JW's and before they had the chance to speak I shouted at the top of my voice....

"Praise the flying spaghetti monster"

Blew them a kiss then closed the door.

I've just got back from a spot of, early morning, fishing at the beach, it was not very fruitful.
However, while I was fishing I turned round and looked towards my car, parked on the beach, a couple of meters away from the car was a pelican, not something I've seen here previously.

An hour later, I was walking back to the car, the pelican was now next to a bloke sitting on a deck chair, next to a very small camper van, slightly odd.
As I got a bit closer it appeared that the pelican had 2 chicks at its feet, but as I got nearer what I thought were baby pelicans turned out to be a fluffy dog lying at the pelican's feet.

So in summary, a bloke turns up at the beach, to catch some rays, in the worlds smallest camper van, with his tame pelican and pet dog, which is not something you see every day! Confused

And no, I haven't been drinking, smoking, or tripping!

If he takes it to the vet he'll be presented with a huge bill.

Today's oiled my gears' moment came from a little bit of schadenfreude. The police officer that nicked me for speeding a couple of years ago, got a slap up Stafford town today. He was talking and trying to question a foreign lad; 20 years old or thereabouts. Suddenly the foreigner punched the officer knocking his hat off and legged it up the road. Shame Laughing

Booked up MT10 test ride. Cool Note to self, leave wallet at home. Last time I did this I bought the Spacker, and I'm
not sure I'm done having my arms stretched by that yet.

Umm, yeah.
Try Martha's Vineyard in Massachussets.
You're guaranteed to catch the odd grape or two.

I do hope you get decent weather for the test ride.
Also, do take note of how long your expected to be out.
I got the feeling the dealer thought I was rather taking the piss when I rolled back 3 hours later.
I'd wager the MT10 may well be the quickest thing you've experienced so far, enjoy.

I think you're probably right there, I was offered the SP version but I don't want to hate my own bike and it's
basic suspension after the test ride and end up spending money making it better or even more money chopping it in.
I've yet to sit on a bike this year Laughing was planning to get out this weekend but the snow might well scupper that.
It was quite cold enough walking the dog today thanks very much. I'll only get an hour and a half tops, my ride is booked
for 4pm. Thumbs Up Deffo leaving wallet at home.
