You could buy both houses next to him with that. Or should I say, caravans.

Man's got a point ...

Although, even though I could afford an S9, I'm just not mug-enough (or interested enough in phones) to buy whatever the latest one is. I just don't see the point. Why pay daft premium prices when it's gonna come down in price soon enough anyway. Like buying a brand new car and then it depreciates 20% the minute the wheels leave the showroom floor.

I picked up a young fella (only about 11 or 12) a few months ago who bored his nanny rigid about the difference between the iPhone 8 and the iphone X ... Picked him up again today except this time he was with someone who must have either been his older brother or his cousin, and he was banging on about being on the waiting list for some IOS game or other (I dunno, I wasn't really listening*) - and which no doubt his mother will pay for him to have.

Still, some blokes are all about the gadgets, I suppose.

*yes I was busy listening to the older brother who sounded and looked like a young Matt Smith Wub

My point is it's easy to save the vast majority of your income when you live at home so it isn't really something to be boasting about especially when you're in your late 20's.

Jealous?

Reminds me of when I was turned down for promotion back in November. I left the Skype meeting, went to the vending machine and didn't notice the wrapper until I'd paid. Spot on! Smile Made me smile anyway.

(It had standard colours but I was doing a "7-days in B&W" photo album.)

And if that suits all concerned, what's the problem?

A damn sight more sensible idea to get a decent deposit and buy a house than pay huge interest to some faceless lender or even worse, rent to a landlord.

That depends on how much the rent is, mine doesn't charge much at all in the grand scheme of things. Wink

Yesterday met up with some old friends..set up our instruments and made sweet sweet music from 2 'til 7 then managed to get back before the roads got shut.
Proper good jam, we all brought our A game.

I think the fact that Dr D (who has been wheelchair bound for 37 years) has found a way to play a dumkit just added to the experience. His tenacity knows no bounds.

Mr Mav treated my ears with his psychedelic guitar solos....they're still ringing.

Phil amazed us with his rhythm work.

My fingers throb with joy. Smile

Whereabouts do you live (you might be getting a new neighbour Smile). My reason for asking him was that normally I pay more than those with a mortgage.

I sold my car, with a nice profit*, and all the paperwork is done. Time to get a new project, an motorcycle perhaps. Thinking

I got the car for £1150 two years ago, did the maintenance and some minor repairs (roughly £175 in parts. I did all the work myself, a friend of mine helped me when it was necessary) and sold it for about £2000. Plus, I still have 3 sets of alloy wheels in my garage, that I'm going to either sell or use IF I get yet another Mercedes-Benz.

I've just got back from a spot of, early morning, fishing at the beach, it was not very fruitful.
However, while I was fishing I turned round and looked towards my car, parked on the beach, a couple of meters away from the car was a pelican, not something I've seen here previously.

An hour later, I was walking back to the car, the pelican was now next to a bloke sitting on a deck chair, next to a very small camper van, slightly odd.
As I got a bit closer it appeared that the pelican had 2 chicks at its feet, but as I got nearer what I thought were baby pelicans turned out to be a fluffy dog lying at the pelican's feet.

So in summary, a bloke turns up at the beach, to catch some rays, in the worlds smallest camper van, with his tame pelican and pet dog, which is not something you see every day! Confused

And no, I haven't been drinking, smoking, or tripping!

I really wish you had got pictures.

Pelican and tame owner were there again this morning.
A closer look revealed the pelican is tethered with a rope.
No camera, soz mate! Mr. Green

Karma.

Karma oiled my gears.

Someone who wronged me is about to recieve an expensive and possibly life changing letter. And the best part is its all their own doing. I had no input other than sitting down with a bag of popcorn.

Been wondering for some time whether to renew my lorry license.
I only used it a few times after I passed, the plan was to jack my job in and become a murderer of prostitutes.
Bottled that idea so with slight regret I've decided to surrender the entitlement, prompted by receiving the renewal forms in the post.
It now transpires that my decision doesn't have to be final, all that's needed for future reactivation is a medical.

Which is nice.
