Well now,
I was bitten by a cranefly yesterday
and I must say that,
so far,
it has been a most uplifting experience.

I’m hooked!!

Well it was bigger than I thought it was going to be, having never made one before.
It was extremely edible, half gone.

A Victoria Sponge dangerous? Pfft. I have a recipe for a chocolate cake that is the cake equivalent of Novichok. The amount of chocolate in it is just ridiculous; dark chocolate, milk chocolate, 80 or 90% cocoa chocolate, chocolate buttercream, chocolate icing, chocolate chips...I refuse to make it anymore, as last time, I went through a 10inch one by myself in 2 days. Truly death by chocolate.

I am my own worst enemy for cakes. Being both Gluten and dairy intolerant I tend to make my own which results in outright piggery.

It was my birthday yesterday and the cake/s my daughter sent me still have not arrived from the postman. I fear they have been stolen. Perhaps you would be kind enough to make me one of those chocolate Chernobyls you describe above. Just to calm the feverish uncaked beast beneath my breast.

Yesterdays's post :
1. The practice manager left three days early.
2. It was my birthday
3. I had a nice time, lots of flowers, my fella was home, he molested me to within a giggling and hysterically girlish inch of my life, and then he cooked me the most fantastic steak, and the first real meal I have had for very many weeks* and
4. We drank the best part of a magnum of prosecco, which actually (surprisingly) didn't taste as vile as I was expecting it to.

But mostly point number 1.

*in fact, since the occasion of Maggie's Vegetable Lasagne

Today's post:
I just tore a strip off a night controller who thought he could talk over me.

No doubt I will suffer for it tomorrow.

It was rather like when you are scratching a really bad itch and you know you should stop Right Now, but you just want to enjoy the sheer animal pleasure of scratching it, all the while ripping your own skin off ...

So I just kept ranting.
Boy, am I going to suffer for it tomorrow.

Happy birthday for yesterday.

Unfortunately, this Novichoc cake is banned under OPCW* rulings. I believe the research centre at Porton Down (known affectionately as Charlie's Chocolate Factory in NBC** circles) are allowed to make it in small amounts, try calling them.

Since the annoying practice manager has left, I can actually hear myself think.

I might actually manage to tidy up the correspondence templates on the patient management database (an incredibly straightforward job), before next Christmas. I might *even* manage it before the end of the summer ( #optimistic Laughing )

No way could I have done that during the day with her making so much racket; there was always Some Fuckin Drama.
