Not today but Weds.

A runway, good company, late summer sun and a Busa.

Gears oiled nicely, and a stonking ride home in the dark.

The bloody thing decided to both break its pull chord and snap the chord return coil.
The chord was easy enough but getting the right shape bent back in the coil was a pain.
Getting it up and running again for free was most gratifying.

Are you a Status Quo fan? They were (incorrectly) fabled for making a living off three chords, you've made A-minor* spelling mistake in your three cords.

Staying with the musical theme, just got back from the Bridgewater Hall, the Hallé Orchestra were playing various Star Wars tracks. Didn't recognise them all but it was a good evening for me and my daughter.

I have just had three glorious days working (but not AT work) and had the opportunity to pick up a book and read more than a couple of pages. Im almost halfway through, enjoying it a lot and most importantly I am looking forward to grabbing an hour this afternoon to read some more.

Not many pics were taken because the sun was too bright really but here's a few stills from the video I recorded.

And again the fastest recorded speed on the footage. May have squeezed another mph or two out before backing off
due to lack of room to brake safely. Lots of fun, and best of all this didn't happen again...

Weekend in Scotland, wedding, friends, piss-up, laughter, even a bit of snatched domestic bliss.
I do like a bit of Sweaty time now and then.
I never feel as though I get to stay long enough.

Rather unexpectedly, I find myself car shopping. Dance! Time to say bye bye to the Swift as it's no use whatsoever as a means
of transporting the dog. The rear seats don't even go fully flat and we're cheesed off using the van for our UK holidays as a
recent five hour trip in it highlighted the lack of comfort and refinement somewhat. I'm on the phone to a dealer in Surrey
tomorrow. Looks like Gracie is getting a new car for her 2nd Birthday which is this Tuesday. I have something quite fun in
mind, even if it is for use as a doggo wagon.

Found a fiver next to my bins in the pile of wind blown leaves.

Seriously though those new notes are slippery. Keep tight a hold or the wind will deposit them near my bins..

Don't iron them. If your iron touches a corner, the plastic shrivels up, and while they are still OK in shops, the bank will remove them from circulation. What a waste.

Can I get some kind of perma-creases done in them that doesn't involve ironing? I hate my money to look scruffy before it goes out.

Many things have cheered me up recently.

I met up with a bike chum last night and spent a happy few hours riding around enjoying the sun, first proper ride since getting the gixer fixed after it being recovered from crims in Amsterdam. I was thinking about selling it on but rediscovered the joy of twitchy 600 sportsbikes Razz

I did my first ever Parkrun this morning, at the start of the year I wouldn’t have been able to do anywhere near 5km but I got round it and actually enjoyed myself. OK so I walked the majority but I still ran a good 2k!

Going out tonight for some dinner and cinema Thumbs Up

This really made me laugh.

I wonder if the idiot who spent a fortune on that crap will get his money back from the auction house.
