I've had a whole day "Inside Planet hellkat" ... which is something I've not had much of a chance to properly do in the last 3 or 4 months.

But suddenly time has escaped me and this evening I have places to go, people to see, and I can't quite remember how I managed to get *this* stoned, and how the hell am I going to go out in public like this, let alone act like the only-slightly abnormal person that the people I work with know and love me for appearing to be.

They've not met the deranged hilarious stoner.
Holy shit Laughing

Few years back I got bladdered after a last shift before Xmas - bit of a tradition with the lads..
It was around 4pm and I headed home by bus. I distinctly remember a mother saying to her son "Keep away from him he's drunk". I looked around before realising she meant me! I was swaying a little as I sat on that seat.

As I was getting dressed to go out, I said (out loud) to myself "Well at least I'm just stoned, not staggering around drunk" ... only to then slip on the bath towel and nearly take out the glass shower screen on the side of the bath Shocked

That moment when you desperately grab out for something solid, find it, steady yourself and go "whoa-a-a-ahhhhh". Laughing

Also rather uncharacteristically, I didn't get round to smoking the joint whilst I was out "curse you TFL and your totally camera'd up transport system" ... so I *could* smoke it now, but I have to be in the office in Chelsea, booted and spurred, and looking bright eyed and bushy tailed by 8am tomorrow, buggerrrrrrr

Just sorting out some pics of the dog into a folder on our computer. Wub

Can someone tell me how this.

https://i.imgur.com/Yra0qLJ.jpg

turned into this

https://i.imgur.com/fgi2Ypc.jpg

Had to scrap that sofa and buy her a bigger one.

Taken just now,

https://i.imgur.com/Xbp6VeA.jpg

Much more comfortable. Very Happy Can't believe we've almost had her two years. At full stretch she can touch both
ends of this one now. Thumbs Up Off to minor injuries clinic later, to see if this bleeding great lump actually has broken my thumb. Rolling Eyes
It's still early, Gracie doesn't do mornings. About 11am she starts getting animated until I walk her. Honest...

Had the first service done on the motor at the main dealer.
The initial price quoted was of course ridiculous but my staff discount knocked £70 off.

Gareth Potato.

I'm watching Series 2, episode 5, Star Trek Deep Space 9. Doctor Bashir refers to a Bajoran with a Cardassian orphan as "Gareth Potato". I played it back 3 times, and can't make his name out, so Gareth Potato it is. Laughing

Yeah he's got a face full of monkey whiskers so you can't really see his muzzle, in the second picture.

They'll come out over time

Might pop out...
This is an action worth celebrating because it marks my slow return from hermit-ism.

I may not go far, and I may not go very often, but the fact that I agree to something when someone says "Hey do you want to come over and [whatever] /spur di la momento ..." is a positive thing for me.

It means that something indefinable but which has been missing for a VERY LONG time is returning to my "self".

It's life, Jim, but not as we know it.

All I see is a corner that needs to be turned - but its a huge big scary corner.
I might like what's round the other side.

Might just take a spliff with me, in case it turns out to be a bit too much for me Cool

I've had a very productive weekend! Did my 5km Parkrun yesterday morning, did a whole load of work prep whilst watching Bake Off on Netflix, ordered a replacement dashcam, did a 5.3km leisurely walk this morning, fitted my dash cam and hardwired it into the ignition fuse so now I have my 12v plug back and finally I replaced the missing decals on my bike.

I also have the next two weeks off work and its payday on Thursday.

Did you use a fuse kit? I'm just about to attempt to do the same.

Yup, it came with a wire and fuse to piggyback into the ignition fuse. I then earthed it on a handy bolt underneath the fuse box so now the camera turns on and off with the key.

Cheers, I'm proper happy. My family has a fairly unusual surname and this time 18 months ago me and my brothers were the end of the line.

Now there are 3 happy healthy boys to cary on the line.

Plus it's another one to get into bikes Very Happy

Funnily enough my boys are maintaining the family name,in the UK at least.

I've just noticed the people on YouTube who turn the tables on the PC virus pop up and tech support scammers from India.
I love the way they get into the scammers PCs and destroy shit. Laughing

Turned into a sleepover: we did vegetable curry, girlie chit chat and an attempt at making silly videos like a sort of You-Tube GoggleBox bitch fest Laughing Thumbs Up

Happier hellkat
