Oh oh - a cheese I haven't tried. I Wub cheese.

It has a lovely hard texture, and you can see where the cloth was pulled off. Eat the outside too (but not any cloth you might find), it has a lovely buttery flavour.

I went to NEC Birmingham with 'meh' attitude, thought same s##t again, but I sat on that MT-10 and my heart started beating a bit quicker. I didn't expect that.

I'll test ride it next spring.

Then your heart will definitely beat quicker. Thumbs Up I took one out this year back in April when it was damp and 5 degrees C.
My only gripe was the sound or lack of it, but coming from the Spacker most stuff seems quiet. When I buy one, it will
be getting some Akra action. But otherwise I couldn't fault it. Most importantly of all, it fit me in physical sense.

Yeah, I caned the demonstrator. Burned off half a tank in as much of a spirited hour as the slippery roads allowed. Laughing
But we have a nice NSL camera free bypass near where I live and it's fair to say I was well into bye bye licence territory most
of the time I was on it. I only ride for fun, so MPG is no worry. I'll probably just run it on super*. Whistle

I'm still getting used to having a cleaning lady.

Coming home to a house that feels ever-so-slightly tidier than I left it (and I am starting to have a better sense of motivation to keep it cleaner/tidier since she started) - and finding myself the smug owner of a clean toilet*, shower-glass, bath and handbasin, and the bedroom floor hoovered and mopped, with surfaces wiped.

*And a clean pedestal Wub
I hated getting down on my hands and knees to do that.
Fuck that shit, I'm fifty fucking seven.
I'm happy to pay someone else to do it for me while I can still afford it.

My mum almost always had a cleaner from when I was quite a young kid, until after I left home. I'd forgotten how nice it is to just ... come in and sit down.

*contented sigh*

I actually love cleaning the toilet and bathroom. There's nothing better than a shining 'bluey white' throne.
The rest of my house is a pig sty but hey my loo is clean!

We used to have a cleaner. Trouble was, we would clean up before she came because we didn't want her thinking we lived in a pit.

We don't have a cleaner any more.

Yeah I didn't use to understand why my mum would always make us clean up the night before the woman turned up. But I'm realising now that even though they are cleaning ladies, they're not chambermaids, so picking up your clean washing and hanging it up in the cupboards isn't necessarily part of their remit.

Or maybe its just mine ... one of my mates reckons her cleaning lady puts clean sheets on the bed each time. I might have to train mine up a bit ... Thinking ... so far I've let her just do whatever, cos anything is better than my increasingly shoddy efforts, and I'm pathetically grateful that she actually turned up more than once after the first time Laughing

My front brake master cylinder arrived in the post, it's for a CD250U pattern part to fit on my CB250 (it will work because I've done it before)

Best all, it's a complete unit with bolts, lever and even a brake switch.

A photo from wemoto, that's how it arrived.

Fitting on Saturday... I hope I can find my bleeding kit.... Cool

My middle pubert DJ'ing in the local pub, going along and listening to tunes I have never heard in a pub before.

In particular he managed to integrate 'Fairies Wear Boots' as a gift to his old dad within an acid-jazz set. The boy is a genius and makes me a very proud man!

Fitted the front brake master cylinder in just over an hour, no problem.

Gears well oiled plus I feel a touch smug, mainly because I saved a lot of time and money. Cool

How much does it cost to have a cleaner?

Most of the main ingredients in the pot.
Some seasoning will be added tomorrow(today).

Haven't shaken off this cold yet but scratch vocals are in the microwave just incase.

Booked up for Sunday roast at the pub later after we've walked the dog. Pub is at the end of the walk so we'll take her along.
She's pretty well behaved and we'll make sure we take food for her along so she can eat too.

Been researching for a new Jacket, my Alpinestars jacket is no longer waterproof.

Looks like I might be going for a BERING Jacket this time, I owned one about 20 years ago and it lasted me years. I think I've found one that suits my needs.

Also did some research on front brake master cylinders, found some very interesting aftermarket parts..

Just played Sid at Cribbage.

I scored 28 points in one hand and 7 in the box, totalling 35 in one deal.

Apparently the maximum possible score for a hand is 29.

I dont suppose I'll ever do it again!

It is, you need three fives in your hand and the fourth five as the cut card with the jack of the same suit as the cut card as your fourth card in your hand Smile

I've seen 28 a couple of times but never 29.

Random crib fact: It's impossible to score 19 with a single hand count.

I managed to sell an old car stereo I've had knocking about the shed for years.
Chucked it on shpock a while back and away it went today.
Amazing what some folk want.

on a work trip to Barcelona, finished what I was doing at a reasonable time, So I decided to pop into the the natural history museum as it was with in walking distance of the hotel.

As an added bonus entry is free on the first Sunday of every month. spend an hour or wandering round, without the missus bleating in my ear about being board.

its doesn't have as many exhibits as the natural history museum in London, but at least you could actually move and see them all, and I can think of worse ways to spend an hour.

Rode my CB250 for work today, those brakes work well, plus the bike handles even better.

If it wasn't for a torrential down pour on the A3, my day would of been perfect.

Oh yes, my mp3 player ordered from Amonson Sunday morning arrived today... who needs prime?
