seeing two women......of a lower class............have a full on fight.....over a loaf of bread........normally I don't watch fights as I find them stupid.........but seeing these two literally go for each others throats....... (actually lots of flailing their arms around and a bit of hair pulling) was kinda comical Twisted Evil

It had to be broken up by security, and they both got chucked out the store...........but not before the usual mouthful of dirty words to each other and the security people......never mind there was children in the store Shocked

It looked like a drunken cat fight on a Friday night in southend, I should have been one of these people who should have filmed it and put it on youtube for fun

I was about to say, ponds for the first person to put up a vid of a panic buying fite.

But then I thought hell I'll just do it myself

We’ve been getting free fizzy drinks from a well known burger chain in this neck of the woods.

Aha. Well, to give a big clue, it's two things, close to each other.

Great Scott! No. Neither is it anything to do with dogs, before pepperami pokes his whole muzzle in.

Flowers and chocolates from the Esteemed Daughter for Mothers Day.

Gorgeous yellow roses (and some white ones as well this time) at least three dozen roses.
She knows what I like, that girl. Wub

So what with the flowers from my consultants last week still holding on (hydrangeas, last ages), and then the anemones I bought earlier this week, my gaff is a bit of a flower-fest at the moment. Cool
Got some in every room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room.
Fantastic.

Well ... if I tidied up a bit, it would look fantastic.
As it is, they still create beautiful little oases of colour on planet hellkat

... dogs...

Been thinking about getting another dog lately.
A rescue (of course)
Been starting to sniff about on the rescue websites, Battersea, Oldies, that sorta thing.
It's got to be one that will get on with cats, though.

Need to talk myself out of it.
My lifes' not supposed to be going in another direction Laughing
Keep on track, Jen. Keep on track.

BUT LIFE ... its too short ... needs to be joyous.

Back to the doggoes then Wub

I miss my dog Sad

But what has oiled my gears was at the tip earlier, last year some prick dumped a kids bike in my garden.
Today I took it to the tip, as I took it out of the car a lady came rushing up to me asking if she could have it for her son.

Of course I said yes, her smile has made my day.

I had another really nice chinwag on the phone with an old flame this afternoon. We've had a couple of chats since he showed back up, but still haven't actually met up.
I wish he didn't live so far away (up North somewhere)

Back then I was mostly interested in his trousers.
But now I am interested in ...
No, who am I kidding.

If only he lived nearer

Another day, another old flame on the blower (videophone this time, from NZ, even further than the last one Laughing )

I wasn't expecting him to call, it was a bit out of the blue, so I was kind of glad I had put on some make-up whilst waiting for my Mothers' Day delivery, else I would have looked a worse fright than usual.

Today my day has started extraordinarily well very early indeed ... and is just getting better by the minute.

My daughter just rang for Mothers Day - she's becoming impossibly Australian in her attitude, which is hilarious. She was already laconic enough (my influence) but its getting worse, with an entertaining story about how a possum allegedly chased her and her friends at a barbecue. Wub

We distracted ourselves from the usual topic of conversation by looking up how the word "draconian" had been derived, and ended up discussing whether the chap who plays Draco Malfoy was hot or not (consensus, of course, was yes: the apple does not fall far from the tree Laughing )

It is fluid. There is gas involved, too (no, not *that*!).
