I am spending my holiday not-in-the-Canaries (as I had booked last October), but at home. I've eaten loads of the lovely foods I bought as treats for the week - and one thing to be thankful for is that the sun has been shining every day since Friday (the official start of my not-in-the-Canaries holiday). Thumbs Up

There are far fewer. Without beekeepers, honeybees would not survive in the UK today. The reason for that is another imported "disease thing", in this case the varroa mite.

I've just found an extra can of John Smiths in the fridge.
In the day of constant Corona gloom and not even leaving the house or seeing another human, it's oiled my gears somewhat!
Small victories!

Nando’s did deliver a load of free scoff to our hospital last week.
We (security) were so busy we didn’t get a look in Crying or Very sad .

However our local Asda did give away free bunches of flowers today.
Makes the house a little bit less clinical/cold Thumbs Up

I had to 'pop out' on the bike to collect some medication earlier. Getting there took 10mins. Getting back took 2hrs.

You're not supposed to take all the medication before you head home again Wink

My spare toilet roll is now up for sale.

Yours for £399 (decimal point deliberately omitted).

Thumbs Up

During the last month, the ratio Bog roll / Oil (barrel) has climbed surprisingly close to unity.

Leaves are bad. Gr-arse is good. Moss is best.

Make sure you don't have a bramble in it or you will be psoting in the "Ground my gears" thread.

I'm not entirely sure what the effects would be if I took 2 weeks supply of Closapine in one go, other than death. Thinking

Good point.
I'm not sure if the cleaner is coming tomorrow.
I should really ask the guvnorlady.
But I'm a tad knackered, in bed already.
I had to get the cat's father to come and get it.
It was growling and spitting at me, although it let me scratch it behind the ears.
Weird coat, but kind of oddly touchable, like velour Shocked ... it's one of those ridiculously expensive cats, the first time it went walkabout the fathers were hysterical with anxiety.

I just made my very loverly banana pancakes, because I like to indulge myself when I feel like it (it's my holiday). The thing is, one of my housemates is working from home and had to smell the delish aromas of my cooking...ooops! Cool

I know right, it really is extremely cute, but freaky looking.

If it showed up often enough it would probably let me pick it up, cos it let me lie down (on my own bed!!) beside it, cos I was cat-whispering it, haha. I am likely to spoil it the same way I spoil the ones I already have.

I can't really afford to have another cat making themselves at home here, though, as it looks like I might have another one on the way (unexpected catsitting requirement Rolling Eyes )

I am really not up for being the mad cat lady, but life seems to be putting cats in my pathway at the moment.
