I may have accidentally attempted to chat up someone new.
I also have somehow followed a squaddie of my acquaintance into a large veterans chat group on FB.
Just keeping my hand in, etc.
Might start working on throwing a curve ball at the social media algorithm fairies, for a bit.

A guy I used to work with has asked me if I wanna do his private secretary work.
So I told him Yes.
Bit pleased.
Was hoping he might eventually do that.

Lawrence has definitely returned for the winter.
I am having a very laid back Saturday, in bed, with the cats.
All I really need is a slave glamorous assistant slave to bring me coffee and breadless bacon sandwiches, really ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

Would you like some melted cheese in which to dip your three layered bacon nibbles? |

No indeed, it is just as it sounds.
All it really means is checking his letters for grammar and spelling (he is Italian), and possibly booking his private patients into the calendar for his virtual clinics. Although if I have to speak to his patients, that could be rather challenging, as he specialises in adult ADHD, and they tend to be quite insistent/pedantic/infuriating ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I reckon another 8-10 hours worth to go. I'm still amazed that the last thing to see this could have been a dinosaur.

Nope. but an Ichthyosaur didn't have to spend 8 hours a day with people he hated so he could afford to buy paper to wipe his arse with. |
You could always jump in a river to have a shit.

Had a bit of a nag with probably my oldest internet mate* today, quite rare, cos he lives in America and our hours usually clash.
I've known him for probably 22 years and I still haven't ever met him, wow, headfuck central.

Today, I went for a ride on my road bike. A lad dressed like he's just got back from the Giro'd Italia overtook me, and after that I decided to keep up with him and then overtake him. He was still looking over his shoulder, in disbelief that I could even keep up, thinking I was probably on a e-bike. To explain my enjoyment, I don't ride in bicycle clothes. I just wear some shorts and a t-shirt, on flat pedals, with MTB helmet and the only ''e'' thing on my bike is my smartphone in my pocket. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

Had nice ride about Epsom Downs yesterday. Managed to miss all the rain somehow
On "Oiling Gears" today I did do the oil change on wife's car. I think the sump bolt is 21mm which is about the only size my father-in-law didn't have but luckily 13/16ths fitted. Most of the work is taking off the undertray to get at the sump and removing the big hose from the airbox to get at the oil filter. It's one of those with a plastic cap and you just pull out the paper element. I suppose it's more eco-friendly than the old metal can type but messy ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |
