Oh yes, I'm a complete quaeer.. (soft brown sugar). I'm pretty sure that Ogri would have used engine oil on his porridge though. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

Cornish-style or actually proper ones from Cornwall? |
Proper teddy oggies are the biz.
My grandmother was a Cornish woman, taught my mother how to do them. She passed the recipe on to me. Very simple, and that's the key.
Best ones I've had beyond that were from a shop in Tintagel, and there was a place in Looe that did them right. Alas I avoid pastry nowadays. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

We're not allowed to use our holidays at the moment.
But its likely we will be allowed to roll our annual leave (or a portion of it) into next year, but I haven't used any from this year yet.
(I usually save most of my days so that I can have shorter weeks through the worst of winter).
But technically I will have up to 54 days owing to me.
I feel a soft southern breeze on my cheek already ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I finally found enough energy to return to my back garden, which is heinously overgrown, and I made enough of a dent in it to motivate myself to go back out there on the next sunny(ish) day and rip out some more.
It's not nearly as bad as I thought, because right at the back its mostly all empty under the canopy growth. But its bad enough: brambles and a climbing rose that just will not quit. There's even a tree that's about 10 feet high that was not there 3 years ago (!) I never planted the cunt, I have no idea what it is
Had to hack the rosemary bush back just to get in the gate, LOL. But it will survive. It was one of the first things I put in when I moved here in 2007. But I discovered years ago that when you rip or hack a branch off, several more grow back in its place.
Rosemary likes a bit of rough handling ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

A nice walk in -15°C.
EDIT: It's -21°C now, I'm not going out though. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

Today my gears are oiled by having cleared one of my two fairly hefty credit card debts.
So that's a huge weight off my mind
And at least two hundred quid a month extra in my pocket (so I can clear the other one even quicker). ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

Today the machine has been oiled with liberal use of Lactulose. No longer grumpy. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.
