It all went wrong when Paul Heaton and Norman Cook went their separate ways, about 1988.

Meg the kitten got spayed. £75 well worth it. No more wanting to shag anything and making noises like a ringing phone and putting her little bum in the air for all to see.

She's sleeping now, apparently she might put on a bit of weight as after spaying they tend to eat more. The op went well though which is great.

Dagmar is a 45 year old drag queen called Derrick from the Isle of dogs. I think you'd have to chop it off rather than pull it out.

Anyway, I had a nice day with my sister in law, who arrived yesterday afternoon. Funny little thing she is: intelligent, artistic and creative, generous, spirited and kind, and utterly bonkers in a very entertaining and down to earth way.

It was nice to have a girlie nag about everything under the sun (including family matters that we never get round to dissecting!) and relaxed glass of wine with some dinner. Its always a learning experience, as she is quite well travelled, and spent years living in Israel as a young woman. Fascinating woman!

Every now and then I saw the family resemblance to her brother (my ex-husband) come out in her, and it was quite strange. Never experienced it before Laughing

Mad Italians, I seem destined to be associated with them Wub

Getting my bike gear on at work in C London it was absolutely pissing down, with added hailstones. 5 minutes later I walked out to my bike on the rank and the roads were still soaked but the rain had stopped and the sun popped out in a patch of blue sky.

I must have done something good because that patch of blue followed me all the way home where all around me was grey and I could see rain in every direction.

Gears oiled today Thumbs Up

Today, after quite a stressful professorial week, I am very grateful that I somehow managed to instal a notification sound on my Outlook to let me know when the Italian shrink sends me an email.

Its the simple things.
