I had a halfway decent chat (on video) with my sister for her birthday.
For me, this is an achievement, because she can be a most irritating person.
I wouldn't have her for a friend.

Although I would definitely have my daughter for a friend if she wasn't my daughter. Awesome bird , apple doesn't fall far from the tree, etc.

Anyway: families. You don't get to choose them.
Sent the little blister an orchid, she probably won't like it, but never mind.
Got that over and done with for another year.

I live about 100 yards from a pub with a large garden and to celebrate being open for the bank holiday, they've got a band in.

I think they might still be soundchecking, but so far we've had a spirited version of Teenage Kicks, they absolutely murdered The Chain and now we've got a badly sound mixed go at Chasing Cars, plus the drummer thinks he's Clem Burke.

But hey, it's live music, which it feels like I haven't heard in a lifetime, so it's all good
