Hi All.

Finally getting my ass in gear to rebuild my J1.

Ive just picked up a master cylinder assembly (Lever, reservoir, cylinder & lines) on ebay and wondered if there is any way of knowing if its okay before fitting to the bike?

Seller described the lines as shot but cant see why (not going to chance it though)

Its not a radial type (if it makes any difference) - Bike is a 99 ZX6R J1.

Cheers!

I've found that some caliper bolts are the same size as the banjo bolt, that would allow you to put some brake fluid in and check the lever is solid (also works with the caliper and an air line to remove pistons)
