Thought I'd copy/paste my post from the TRF forum and face book pages here. Cos you never know who is lurking.
Hi,
Beginners ride this Saturday 25th. Bedford Salvation Army - MK40 1QS
Bedford Christian Motorcyclists Association invite you to join them for free refreshments before and after this beginners level ride.
Bacon sandwiches, tea, coffee etc.
Open to all trail riders, TRF and non-TRF members. Meet at the "Woolpack" car park directly opposite Salvation Army any time from 9am. Leaving at 10am sharp! Limited free parking for vans and car trailers, if we get a lot of vans and trailers turning up CMA riders will be on hand to guide you through the one way system to suitable alternative parking and back. (As far as I know only one other CMA member is joining us on the trails - weather permitting).
I will be leading this slow paced ride, heading north up the B660 and brushing Cambridgeshire, the route will be approx. 75 miles, with roughly 25 miles of green lanes, petrol stop at about 40 miles. Total time around 4 to 5 hours or so.
This ride will be suitable for bigger bikes too, unless we get lots of rain beforehand, as there is a lot of grass.
cheers,
Mark. |
