bike to car NCB??

anyone know of any car insurers that accept bike NCB or bike insurers that accept car NCB Question

just been looking at getting a car and its still extortionate without it and im over 25! Evil or Very Mad

Just to muddy the waters.
I have 2 cars on a multi car policy,
they both benefit from the 5 years NCB I have built up with my car (admiral multi car).
I also have 5+ years of motorbike NCB built up through my motorbikes?

If they are considered separate can I insure one car with the 5 year car NCB and take the second car to Carol Nash and insure using the motorbike NCB and then just re-insure the bike somewhere else as it costs pittance comparatively?

(Because admiral renewal += 100%)

I've just insured my first bike with carole nash and they wouldn't let me use my 8 year NCB from my car they said they had to be from a bike.

Not sure if this is the case with all their policies but that was only a week ago.

Remember that you can only use one set of no claims on a single policy, so if you were to use your no claims that you have accrued on a bike, then you would no longer be able to use that no claims on a bike policy.

That's assuming you find an insurer who will transfer it to car NCB. I believe admiral did at one point accept bike NCB.

Couldn't use my 12 year van ncb on the second divvy. Price with 12 year's £84. Price with no ncb £78.
Doesn't make sense, but I bought it anyway. Probably 1000% price hike for year 2 auto renew.

I found Asda to be the cheapest, they don't insure but they offer a price comparison on their website.

All the usual screen scrapers like GoCompare and Moneysupermarket for me were bringing me back quotes of £600+.

Asda asked me for my car NCB on the form and the cheapest quote was £292, big difference!

Probably dear for alot of you guys still, but I only passed this year, am young, and live in a rough area!
