hi all

do any of you own a pair of force rider kevlar jeans? if so what is the fit like? i usually wear a 38w or 40w suit trouser, levis 501 i have to wear a 40w due to my leg size (am 18st 6ft3 and do powerlifting) - actual waist is 36

just wondering what the fit is like as wouldn't want them tight but also wouldn't want them to fit like a tent.

I've been wearing them for a while. Originally the fit was pretty generous I'm a 38" and they were a little loose, the last pair I bought (6 months ago) the fit was a lot closer, infact the entire cut was tighter, 38" still fitted but just.

I wear these.

Pretty happy with them, Im normally a 34 Long but bought a 36, just due to the position your legs are when you ride I prefere loose fitting.

The 36 fits me almost perfectly and I'm happy with the quality considering the cost.

I'd consider them entry level protection, with marginally better protection than a thick pair of jeans. That said, I'd buy them again.

so if i wore a standard 38waist straight-leg jean like levis 501 or basic matalan jeans or something you would recommend going a size up on these?

I've got a pair of these 36", they fit OK and look alright. Got to be better than riding in ordinary jeans.

so got a pair in size 40W, fits good and felt comfortable on my ride this morning, however I had to remove the knee protectors as they seem very low on the leg and were digging in below my knee rather than covering it, have you found this problem?

I'm a Hornee customer Mr. Green

I find their waist sizing on the generous side because I need a belt with 32" waist jeans and there's no way I'm a 32.
I originally ordered 34" and had to send them back as too big.
Knee pads are put on first like a stocking style then the jeans.
I've been out for dinner in the jeans before, they are a nice fit on me and look pretty ordinary. Bit warm though
when not on the bike.

Have they dropped in price recently? My wife likes their women's ones, no armour in them though.

They sell the knee armour separately. But yes they seem to be getting cheaper, my pair was 69quid but came with knee
armour for that price. Spada actually make Hornee jeans.
