Can anyone help a newbie? I have been riding this bike for nearly three years and not had any problems with the exhaust but I'm a little confused. I bought a new gasket, took off the exhaust as I want to clean it, treat the rust and paint it but I see no gasket to replace...they ARE supposed to have one right?? Also, does the bracket that fixes on to the engine block not come off the pipe? I mean, if I wanted to replace it I couldn't by the looks of it. Any help is massively appreciated guys! Very Happy
Also, where can I get the bolts to replace the old ones?

It's inside the exhaust. It's not bolted in but it is covered in a load of carbon residue. Dig into the end of the exhaust with a screwdriver and you'll find the gasket.

The exhaust is made of metal so there isn't much danger of you making a hole in it unless you take a hammer to the end of teh screwdriver so you can be quite brutal...
