I think it was different rules for the attempt Guy made.

There were people who had been doing this before Guy Martin.

He didn't have much 'control' over wot went down (no pun) on that TV program. He was more the stunt cock they used but he did have a go and he did put a load of faith in all those Backwater Bodger's Contraptions. Smile

That solves the Calais issue then for motorcyclists. Why pay for a train? Get yourself a full tank and gun it across the Channel.

2 possible outcomes:

1 - Land in Frogland and carry on your merry way
2 - Drown. But drown doing something REALLY cool.
