Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing I bet you a tenner you couldn't max the bike out to it's potential

I bet you triple that. Because I know full well I wouldn't sit on one. Laughing

No one can max a bike out, so why are you running litre bikes Whistle Wink I jest, I'd rather ride an SV than a CB Thumbs Up

Edit; just watched the video, they don't half shift... however the minitwins are fast also.. Shocked

Haha... Touche! You know you want one Paddy, stop resisting. And yeah they shift alright, as do the mini twins, my mate who is in mini twins series, entered into GP1 for a giggle and finished 5th from last, I tipped my cap to him.

And G, I'd love to run a C90 round a track, almost did a endurance race last year, but the bike failed us Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

5EB R6's are pretty cheap these days Thumbs Up and should be more than enough fun around a track.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Or they shit their second gears.

Doesn't stop them thriving in the pre-injection class though, which is all R6s and CBRs and well within OP's budget.

Hopefully going to eye up a ZX6r J2 at the weekend, with 2 sets of wheels, V5 and track fairings.

Anything I should pay a special interest to?

I'm intrigued by this GSXR6. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/suzuki-gsxr-600-k7-Race-Track-bike-/252055200311?hash=item3aafa92237 These bikes are a good starting point for track use as the standard bike has perfect weight distribution. This one has been race prepped by specialists - you could call them for an opinion. There won't be many bidders because of the lack of headlight and fear of engine wear, crash damage and so on. But if you inspect it carefully, badger the owner for dyno printouts etc and find out whether he's trying to hide the fact that he's ruined it, or a previous owner has actually raced it in the GSXR cup and worn out and/or wrecked absolutely everything...you just might get a bargain.

Bought a zx6r, J model I believe. Dynojet (?), exhaust, steering damper, crash bungs (one used), wets on wheels, tyre warmers, rear sets, extra fairings, levers and tank. £850, I think I got a bargain.

Was racing shift but they changed it back round to road for me so I don't make a fluff up.

I'm itching to ride it now, it has a V5 so I could MOT it but the insurance + tax etc would be the same as a couple of track days, so I'll have to wait.

I've only ever done Cadwell, so hopefully I'll get some other tracks done now I've got something suitable.
