Having just been quoted an extortionate price for a genuine Triumph top box for my Sprint GT (>£700), I'm looking at other options.

Thinking of something decent like Givi or Kappa but not sure what I need for mounting kit.

Any help appreciated.

You need something like this for a Givi box. This one fits the monokey cases, which are the higher quality ones (monolock are their "budget" range, with a different base and not as sturdy).

Givi and Kappa are the same in all but name

You'll near the fitting plate

However, much better deals exist buying Givi and Kappa from Italy
