Module 2 Fail.

So close but so far.

All came down to the fact that I took the wrong exit on a roundabout, my understanding of "straight ahead" was 2nd not 3rd which was further over to the right. Turns out that the exit I took was a no access to cars and bikes, I then stopped just before a no entry sign as it was buses only when I was told over the radio to u-turn and take the next exit.

Turned out to be a serious fault, no point faffing about it, is what it is, annoying such a small mistake cost so much but onwards and upwards.

Booked in for the start of next month and the owner of the company said I didn't need any further training as I've improved a huge amount in riding since starting with overall control and comfort of the bike.

Wanted a giant chinese pig out and to burn the "L Plates", looks like the celebrations on hold.

Could put it down to not knowing the area, test nerves, we all make mistakes. Lesson learnt for sure.

Sods law. Hopefully a worthwhile read for anyone that has Module 2 upcoming.

Good news! You now know you can do everything on the test, comfortably. All you need to do next time is avoid the one non-ability-related cock up and you're through. You can approach your test with a level of confidence that most don't experience.

You will get it next time. Relax and look ahead. To not hear well or misunderstand some direction given by the examiner is not a big deal. It is a minor.

More important is to concentrate on your ride and signs well ahead.

The golden ticket eludes me.. for know.

Four minors overall including the serious fault, no point "oh I would have passed if it didn't happen" because it did, but generally makes me more relaxed that I made one bad call and it cost. As above, don't make it again and all shall be good and well.

At least next time I now what to expect in regards to how to answer the questions and what it's like to be under test conditions. Would have been nice to get it first time but just an excuse to use it as a practice run.

I said to the guy at the training school "I did it on purpose really, I'm getting bored of my 125 and can't stay away from the 500".
