hi guys as we getting nearer to winter looking for a waterproof rucksack, the bigger the better, any recommendations or ones to avoid?

I'd do a combo of the previous two suggestions - a rucksack that you find comfy, plus proper drybags inside - I've had good results with these.

The double layering means that the drybags are protected from abrasion by the rucksack, your stuff stays dry in the inner bags. Having a selection of bag sizes inside the rucksack means that you can separate stuff out - like dry clothes in one, electronics (e.g. chargers) in another etc. That way if you end up looking for something in your bag in the rain, not everything gets wet.

For comfort you can't beat the Kriega range. I have the R25 and its plenty big for my daily needs. It's also relatively water resistant in light showers for short periods.

For all out waterproofness I have this
