That drill press will be capable, but the price of that second hand one isn't much below the cost of a new one

Just about any drill will be up to the job, just make sure you've got sharp drill bits, don't rush it, and lubricate the job so it doesnt get to hot

Also centre drill/spot drill first unless you're using carbide (140° tip angle) drill bits.
