Hi all, decided to finally post instead of just browsing.

Got my bike all ready to ride, just need to pass my Mod 2 on Friday.
I got myself a 2000 Suzuki SV650s (Full fairings) in blue Smile O it has 38k on the clock but me and a couple of friends have half decent bike knowledge and it is sound as a pound. A few minor cosmetics but runs great.

I have since changed a few bits on the bike i.e short stubby levers, Delkevic 225mm stubby can, LED lighting (not dipped beam as I don't want to blind oncoming traffic, I have just replaced this with white instead of yellow H4 bulbs)

Really looking forward to being a fellow 'biker'

Passed my Mod 1 on Monday with no minors and I am really confident about my test on Friday from Atherton Smile

Fingers crossed for me Smile (Shame the weather is forecast to be bad)

Good luck with the mod 2, are you from Leigh or Wigan?or in between.

I am from Kearsley actually so neither, but my office is on Moss Industrial Estate in Lowton and I did my trailer test at Atherton. I pass through on my way home so I am quite familiar with the roads they use on some of the test routes.

Cheers pal, just about to get some rest.
I know I have the skill and ability to pass, I suppose I am just nervous incase I make a stupid mistake.

Seems most people fail on indicating and being in the wrong lane, the things that are going to make me most nervous are mini roundabouts as you tend to get alot of impatient people who don't like giving way to the right.
