The gap between my scooter tyre valve and the rim is very small to the point I have to pull the valve to the side to pump it up. Is there a special small tyre pump adapter I can get so I don't have to do this? Concerned it will damage the valve in time

I use these and can confirm they work.. but they also dont work for keeping air in.. ive decided id rather fuck about trying to get a pump on the valve instead of having to pump it up every day or 2 as its gone down.

I just take them off and stash them on the bike until needed, they would probably be nicked anyway if I didn't stash them.

use an adapter. But don't ride with them on. Ask any tyre fitter, they cause punctures due to the centrifugal force pulling against the valve stem.

People went through a daft stage of fitting valve stem lights and they were wrecking tyres all over the country.

Just stick with a plain plastic valve cap.

Pillock! You only use them while pumping, not while riding. It only has a valve core in it for ease of use!!

I use a 90° doofur for the rear tyre. I'll whip the core out and see if I can still put air in the tyre.
They do let a wee bit of air out when you unscrew it. I normally put bit extra in to allow for that.
