I live in a small village just south of Northampton. In the last 2 weeks a chap round the corner had his 125 stolen from his garden, found 3 gardens down with ignition trashed. Last night 2 people where disturbed on my drive looking at our 2 bikes. They ran off and jumped on a bike which they then rode away on.
Our bikes are chained together and to the house wall, and now have an Oxford screamer disc lock.
I doubt that the bike they where on was theirs, and I suspect they where just looking for another bike to rag around rather than being "proper" bike theives, as our 2 bikes are a bit shit and not worth exporting. So, I suspect these people are doing the rounds, so I just thought I would mention it
Cheers

Cheers for the heads up, I'm south of MK but still, it's close to home. My brothers bike was nicked from Northampton Town Centre I think, bad times.

Did you bother contacting Dibble?

If you do, remember that it was darkish, and they could very well have been snorting coke off each other's shotguns.

Can't be all of Northampton. I must have been pissed off last time I was in the garage, as last night I went to get something from it, it was unlocked and the keys were still in the bike. Untouched.

+1 to this. R1 is currently in hiding as had a load of MTBs nicked from where I keep it. Although, it was left alone it still makes me uneasy. (And the bit they cut in through is yet to be repaired. Might ring up my maintenance company for a shout tomorrow.
