Hi to all.
Just a quick question regarding my scooter.
My old speedfight 100cc (97 model ) immobiliser light illuminates when when the fuel gauge hits the red. At first I thought it was a gremlin with the immobiliser but I have now discovered it also acts as a low fuel warning light. The hand book reveals no info about this and a search on Google brings nothing up either. I can't imagine anybody in its past ownership would want to fit such a trivial feature either.
Is this a normal feature of the bike or some after market add on.
Many thanks for reading and replys
Johnny.

Hi
I also have a 97 speedfight. I'm not aware of an immobiliser light? What does it look like

I reckon it can only be an aftermarket mod. I'm pretty sure peugeot didn't fit immobilisers as standard on the speedfight back then.
There was an option to add one from a dealer just not standard, this was a circular plate normally fitted below the key with a red led. Press the circular plate with the corresponding key before starting. It never illuminated with the low fuel gauge?

Like you Said it would be a pointless feature
