The missus sent both our licences off together as weve just moved , she got hers back but i recieved a letter stating that ive sent in the wrong license .

The photocard licence you enlosed to adivse us of your change of address was issued to you on the 18/12/3 and shows an issue number of 08. Unfortunatlely , this is not the most recent issued licence as our records show that on the 24/03/15 you were issued with a further driving licence at St James Close , which shows an issue number of 09.

This is all correct , the problem is i shreded my old licence ending 08 ages ago! and sent them the one ending 09 !

Not only is a totaly different picture as i am now bald! but my misses even photo copied our licences before we sent off so i have proof that they are just trying to con me out of 20 quid!

What do i do now? should i ring them or email them with photo copy?

ring and tell them you have a photo copy and ask where they would like the copy emailing, they will soon realise it isnt worth the hassle and should sort you out, be polite but firm.

I haven't bothered telling them about my last four changes in address. No kittens have been killed yet.

Good job you have proof, they seem to make more fuck ups than successes.
