Picking up a new ride tomorrow!

For a bit of fun, if any one cares to have a guess at what it is, good karma bombing from everyone to the correct guessers!

Japanese, mid 80's.
A bit marmite, from the odd comment I've seen on here.
Has something of a following in Japan.
Not particularly fast, not a cruiser.
Never a mass volume seller.

Pics tomorrow.
Happy guessing.

There are too many bikes that fit that to make an educated guess.

CBX1000 was the first thing that came to mind.

Funnily enough that was my first thought but didn't 'proper' teapots emerge in the early 90's?

BUT on a similar vein.... Katana?

EDIT: Although the Katana was quite a popular, modern styled bike so mebbe not, how's about....

Nope!

I'm not sure whether it was officially impoted to the UK, if it was it didn't sell very well at all. I've never seen one on the road or parked up anywhere, then again I don't get out much, too much trouble gettin' out of my slippers and extinguishing my pipe! Laughing
